English Dub Review: Delico’s Nursery “A Small Adventure”

Overview:

Clara and the others are baffled by young Theodore showing signs of entering his cocoon phase at such an early age. Meanwhile, the other children take Ul with them for a little adventure outside the manor.

Our Take:

We learned the backstory of the dhampir terrorist and as you might have guessed, it’s super sad. He stole blood, him and his mother were shunned, and after his mother died he was forced to feed on her. He was eventually rescued by a girl and taken to a dhampir village, this also ended tragically because the village was burned down and the girl died. Of all the “terrorist” characters in anime I can see why he is the way he is the easiest. I don’t think he should have threatened the children but I understand it. The kids are having the time of their lives hanging out with this group which is funny as hell.

Deli’s investigation has led to a man who is seemingly sheltering another survivor of the dhampir village that burned down. I know that dhampirs are undesirable in this world but I’m hopeful that the group doesn’t treat this kid like shit next time.
