Report: Get Jiro! Get’s Jiro!

Earlier this summer, Adult Swim had announced that it had ordered Get Jiro! to series and now according to Deadline the lead role of the series will be portrayed by Brian Tee.

Adult Swim has put into production a half-hour animated adaptation of the graphic novel Get Jiro! from Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose which follows a culture war in LA over food where chefs are seen almost like gods and Jiro is right smack dab in the middle of a tug-of-war battle between organic farmers and exotic foodies.

The series is created by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka with WB Animation producing.
