English Dub Review: Bye Bye, Earth “Wherefore in the Earthshine”

Overview:

Belle has arrived in Park City, determined to go on a journey and find her people. But she needs royal permission to leave the country, and a barroom brawl lands her in prison before she even gets a chance to ask for it.

Our Take:

After the ritual that Belle took part in the last episode she no longer remembers Sian’s face. Every memory she has of him is distorted as if she never met him. Depending on what this means and the way the story evolves this could be pretty interesting. The way good and evil are portrayed is fascinating as well. In Park City, it seems that everyone is born to either be good or evil and there isn’t any changing it. After that was discovered Belle got into a fight and seemed like her sword wouldn’t let her kill anyone and if I had to guess it was because they weren’t fully “evil” but I could be wrong.

I still haven’t decided whether this show is good yet or not. It’s only episode two but the arrow is pointing up and I’m at least intrigued to see what happens. I still have a lot of questions and I hope they start getting answered sooner rather than later.
