Skibidi Toilet TV or Film Series In Development From The Creator Of BayFormers
Rooster Teeth might be dead but the machinima art-form is alive and well. Look no further than this report from Variety which says that either a live-action/hybrid film or a television series of some sort is in development by Michael Bay and Paramount’s Adam Goodman inspired by popular YouTube series Skibidi Toilet.
Produced using Valve’s Source Filmmaker, the series follows a fictional war between human-headed toilets and humanoid characters with electronic devices for heads. The series has only been around for just over a year but Skibidi Toilet has amassed billions of views on YouTube and has been so ubiquitous in pop culture that Stephen Colbert did a bit inspired by the series.
That said, Michael Bay adaptations of animated properties can be mixed at best. The entire Bay-formers run of feature-films has been largely garbage so it will be interesting to see where this one goes.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
