English Dub Review: Ragna Crimson “Words Aren’t Needed”

Overview (Spoilers Below):
Multiple battles erupt in an all-out war against the Blood of the Wing.  As each side engages in mortal combat, a crucial decision awaits Crimson.

Our Take:
The ultimate fight continues, with Ragna finally possessing the Silver Comet from Starlia.  With it, Ragna can keep up with Woltekamui’s Monarch strength.  However, Ragna’s silverine powers and Silver Comet sword aren’t enough to prevent a casualty or two…or more.  Since the season is coming to a close, this episode is a great opportunity to elevate the stakes further in a showdown that’ll determine their future.  Of course, that includes killing off several more characters we’ve grown fond of since the start of the season’s second half.  Garm was the first to bite the dust after Starlia’s creations stopped working during the fight against Olto Zora.  This indicates that Starlia has officially succumbed to her wounds for good this time.
Fortunately, not everything is all doom and gloom for the Corps, as Crimson and his servants managed to turn the tide of the battle.  As Ragna takes the fight with Woltekamui to space, Crimson and Slime defeat Nebulim’s security barriers, leaving Crimson to confront a defenseless Ultimatia.  However, Crimson’s advantage comes with removing his immortality to regain his old Monarch powers, including the bullets he created to kill himself, allowing him to finally injure Ultimatia permanently.  However, they’re not the only ones gaining an advantage point, as Fu reveals his half-dragon form to combat the deranged Olto Zora.  With both opposing sides continuing to put up a fight, “Words Aren’t Needed” maintains the tension from its action and animation style to deliver another thrilling continuation of the season’s final battle.
