English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “Our Evil Will Bloom, Someday.”

Overview:

Fighter D decides to infiltrate the Red Garrison with Yumeko, only to find himself in a tight spot.

Our Take:

I will give a minor spoiler warning because I don’t think what I’m about to spoil will stay that way. You see Fighter D was “killed” by Red Keeper at the end of this episode but seeing as he’s the main character of this series I find it hard to believe that he’s dead. Also, there seems to be a monster on the prowl that didn’t get the memo that they are supposed to lose every week.

If Yumeko became the main character I would be 100% on board with that because she is awesome. Heather Gonzalez has been on a roll lately, I’ve heard her before this year but some of her roles this year have made a pretty big impact on me. I loved her as Yukari in Persona 3 Reload but I think Yumeko might be one of my favorites if this keeps up. I love her and D’s interactions so I’m hopeful this isn’t the last we’ve seen of them working together.

It turns out there are a few people who don’t like what the Rangers have turned into because even Hibiki was pro-takedown. Let’s just hope Fighter D survived because the way he hid a divine weapon was smart and impressive.
