English Dub Review: The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess “The Mercy of the Lonely Crimson”
Overview
Komari knows she’s weak, but she can’t abandon Vill. She will fight Millicent, even if her chances of winning are low.
Our Take
This time around, Komari decides to rescue Villhaze after she gets kidnapped by a foe from their past, and despite the occasional annoyance she feels towards her. But in a true act of courage in facing formidable foes like Millicent, Komari’s determination shines through, proving her strength in the face of adversity.
Later on, Komari’s awakens her hidden powers which turns out to be one hell of a game-changer. As her transformation into a formidable force demonstrated the extent of her abilities, though it comes with risks, as she becomes a different person when certain conditions are met, and the backstory of Millicent while tragic helps further help us understand her as a villain and the fucked-up path, she led to who she is now…
Overall, while the proceedings give sort of a sense of relief, the episode also delves into past traumas and the intertwined destinies of the characters, setting the stage for future conflicts and revelations that lie ahead. Now the real questions remain such as what new challenges will Komari face? And whether or not she’ll continue to let past to haunt her?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
