English Dub Review: Gods’ Games We Play “Sunsteal Scramble”

Overview:

Fay, Leshea, and Pearl team up with Dax and Kelritch to go up against the god Mahtma II in their next gods’ game in the desert.

Our Take:

I thought it was cool to see games played as human vs human but now we’re back to playing games against a god. On one hand, I loved seeing people play each other but it is also going to be interesting seeing Dax on the same team as Fay. Not only that but the game that’s being played seems interesting. It involves three types of flowers and trying to get one of them to an altar on a pyramid. Sounds easy sure but when you have to keep your flower a secret from a god it ups the ante a little bit.

There was also a moment between Fay and Leshea that was pretty cute which I didn’t expect to see with them. If romance is ever a thing in this series I wouldn’t expect it to be between Fay and the former god Leshea. But since they have the most in common I suppose it would make sense and I look forward to seeing more.
