Prime Video’s Invincible And Other Series Discovered On North Korean Servers

A new report from CNN states that an American-based hacker has uncovered files belonging to a server hosted by a North Korean animation company that includes thumbnails from the likes of Prime Video’s Invincible and WB Discovery’s Iyanu: Child of Wonder. In response, Invincible’s Skybound Entertainment released a statement saying that they have no knowledge of any subcontracted work going out from their partners to North Korean entities and Lion Forge animation, the producers of the upcoming Iyanu, when it was discovered that their contractors had been working with other South Korean contractors without consent, canceled their contract.

It should be noted that South Korean studios have shipped work to North Korean studios for decades with most American conglomerates playing it stupid whence asked. Franchises like The Lion King, The Simpsons, and a shit-ton of anime have all been subcontracted out to faraway places all over the world so really a lot of this is “Who shot John?”.

In any event, Invincible’s third season is under production and looks great from the undiscovered stills!
