English Dub Review: The Duke of Death and His Maid “The Duke, Alice, and the Mysterious Clone”

Overview:

Having been freed from her curse, Sharon reunites with her former friends and acquaintances. Unbeknownst to her, Sade hid within her magical clones, bent on attacking anyone who threatens her plans.

Our Take:

With Sharon back, I thought things were about to be all good news all the time but unfortunately, that was not the case. I’m not sure if Sharon knows she’s carrying little clones of Sade but whether she knows or not she is carrying them around. I hope that Sharon doesn’t end up being some sleeper agent for Sade. Alice deserves happiness and getting her mother back was just the pick-me-up she needed.

I have to say I’ve come to enjoy Walter as a character. I once hated him because of how he treated the Duke but he’s shown as much character growth as anyone. When he went to fight one of the Sade clones was a great example of this because he admitted he was fighting for Daleth not just to be the heir instead of his brother.  Everyone has come so far since the first season and it looks like we are in for a great season.
