English Dub Review: Metallic Rouge “Mask Graveyard”

Overview

Rouge and Naomi find Gene, but his behavior seems off. Eden battles Grauphon, both fighting for their convictions and the people they love. Cyan is captured by the Puppetmaster, robbed of her consciousness, and forced to play a certain role…

Our Take

The tension between the Visitors and the Junoids reaches its peak as Cyan finds himself in the clutches of the Puppetmaster, while Rouge and Naomi are detained by Giallon. Meanwhile, Eden faces off against Grauphon and emerges victorious, bolstering her resolve to confront Silvia. However, Silvia’s true intentions become clearer as she appears before Rouge and Naomi, leading to a deadly confrontation that claims Giallon’s life.

The tension escalates as Naomi finds herself relying on Rouge to resolve the crisis, only to face a devastating setback when Silvia successfully steals Rouge’s ID. This turn of events leaves Naomi in a precarious position, with Rouge now possessing her id and the fate of stopping Code Eve’s activation hanging in the balance…

Overall, this episode delivered on both action and narrative depth. The animation was top-notch, while still managing to capture the intensity of the battles and the gravity of the characters’ decisions, along with a well-executed plot twist regarding the Puppetmaster’s identity. As the series approaches its conclusion, we can only hope that everything will tie together for the Season Finale coming next week!
