Watch: Our T2 Remake Previews How AI Can Make For Effective Animation Production

Fans at SXSW this weekend booed a presentation for artificial intelligence and all of the impact the technologies can have on the industry. With the panel taking place in the same town as a Rooster Teeth that just announced its closing and a YouTube Music that did the same shortly before, it seems as the local denizens wanted to take their anger and frustration out on something they didn’t know a lot about in the first place.

Take this trailer for an upcoming feature-length parody of Terminator 2 that is made with a litany of tools like Midjourney, Runway, Pika Labs, Kaiber and Adobe all being a part of the process from 50 of the most talented artists working in the artificial intelligence space. The film puts a spin on the beloved classic with commentary and satire about modern-day A.I. technology and its effect on humanity.

Right now screenings have been scant, but hopefully we can get a wide release announced sooner rather than later because judging from this trailer AI John Connor looks a heck of a lot healthier than the real John Connor.
