Hello From The Magic Tavern Animated Series In Development

 

Deadline is reporting that Play Hooky Productions and Starburns Industries have announced that they have teamed up to develop an animated series adaptation of the popular podcast Hello From The Magic Tavern. With the fifth season of the fantasy quest podcast coming March 18th, the series celebrates nearly ten years of following our fabled hero Arnie Niekamp who heads through a magic portal behind a Chicago-based Burger King and ends up in a fantasy world.

Fortunately, Arnie is a podcaster, and he’s got all of the equipment needed to continue his series not set in the fantasy world of Foon though this time he does it with new co-hosts like a wizard(Matt Young) and a shapeshifter (Adal Rifal). As any podcaster would do, Arnie interviews the different denizens of his new homeworld portrayed by Chicago-based comedians.
