English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Art of Explosion?”

Overview:

Faction 60 holds an auction to raise money with a grand prize for whoever raises the most money.

Our Take:

I love the fourth wall breaks this show has from time to time. There was a villain that got his ass handed to him on the roof of the school and there were fireworks that some of the students saw. To which one of them replied “This is the fourth season? Are they dumb?” I couldn’t help but agree with them and found it hilarious. When used well fourth wall breaks can be hilarious

As for the auction, almost everyone brought something of value and meanwhile, Wang Ling brought a broken rice cooker. Luckily, the rice cooker was used to save the day when Wang Ling put a bomb in it and it absorbed the explosion. I’m no rice cooker expert but something tells me that isn’t a normal rice cooker.

Sun Rong has sealed the deal as best girl of this series and most series. She noticed Wang Ling wasn’t able to sell his rice cooker so she bought it, and for a lot apparently because Wang Ling won the auction grand prize. He was able to ask for anything he wanted and guess what he asked for? Yup… crispy noodles.
