English Dub Review: Solo Leveling “You’ve Been Hiding Your Skills”

Overview:

Jinwoo’s party goes on their raid, but there’s a traitor amongst them.

Our Take:

This new raid seems easy at first, but it quickly goes downhill. There’s a traitor in the party who starts taking out the other members. Mr. Song fights him at first, but Jinwoo is the one who finishes the job. He also takes out the boss, but we don’t actually get to see that fight.

The traitor seemed a little shady when he was first introduced, but I didn’t expect him to be as twisted as he is. He turns out to be unlikeable, but he’s still an intriguing character. The fight with Jinwoo is pretty cool to which, even though it is once again a foregone conclusion who would win.

Jinwoo’s power is now revealed to a few more people, but he’s still doing his best to keep it under wraps. One of his party members from the Cartenon Temple raid finally apologizes to him, which is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

I was curious to see how Joohee would hold up on this raid. She does manage to help a little bit, but it’s clear that she’s still not all there. I don’t know if her condition will improve, but at least she’s trying.
