English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Extreme justice is extreme injustice.”

Overview:

The class vote has seen the first student expelled from Class C. Sakayanagi meets up with Ayanokoji and they’re approached by a man named Tsukishiro sent by Ayanokoji’s father. Afterward, Ayanokoji challenges Sakayanagi to compete in their next exam.

Our Take:

Apparently, Ayanokoji’s father doesn’t want him to be at this school which seems odd because as cutthroat as that guy seems you would think he’d want his son to be forged in the crucible of this school. But it seems Ayanokoji has until April when Tsukishiro takes over as one of the chairman to decide to leave voluntarily. Whatever comes to pass, Ayanokoji and Sakayanagi are going to have their duel and if the final scene is to be believed it seems like chess will be where their war is raged.

Ayanokoji is smart, one of the smartest protagonists I’ve seen. So, he has to know what he’s doing when it comes to Karuizawa. When you give a girl a necklace with hearts in it for her birthday she’s going to get a certain idea in her head. But Horikita’s brother also seems to think that something is going on with his sister and Ayanokoji as well. Maybe some more things will come to light during this exam.
