English Dub Review: Shy “When I Cough, It’s the Two of Us”

Overview:

Reinforcements sent by Unilord arrive and assist in cleaning up the aftermath of the battle with Tzveta and Kufufu. Afterward, Teru ends up with an intense cold that leads Iko to look after her and realize how normal heroes are.

Our Take:

The problem with having a big arc right before your season finale is that it can make your last episode a little lackluster. If this were going to be the last episode I would have been way more disappointed but since we are getting a second season I guess it’s not as bad.

One thing this episode did was dial up the Yuri bait to eleven. I’m not sure if that’s the direction the series ends up going but after what happened with Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury if they do decide to go that route I hope they commit to it.

This arc did a lot for my opinion of Pepesha that’s for sure. I thought she was just your typical drunk character trope with no real depth to her. But after seeing how she dealt with having to fight her mother and learning how to deal with some of the trauma of her past I came to like her as a character.
