FOX: Zoo P.D. Animated Comedy In Development
With the strikes over, FOX is getting busier with the script commitments for animation. The network just did one the other day and the network has a TON of adult animation coming next year.
This new one comes from Alex Carter (Family Guy) and is being co-produced by Bento Box Animation and Kapital Entertainment (HouseBroken) and is called Zoo P.D. According to Deadline, this series follows the police force stationed inside the eighth best zoo in California. In their attempts to handle the unruly customers and improve the park, the show hits upon a hard truth: at the end of the day, we’re all just animals.
Our Take
The idea of this series sounds legit but I don’t see any mention really of any animal hijinks going on in the zoo. If this series were to happen, I want some REAL monkey business with the animals and the zookeepers and guests being eaten and everything in between.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
