English Dub Review: The Faraway Paladin The Lord of the Rust Mountains “A Warrior’s Fire”
Overview:
Will’s crew saves Dine, an elf, from a hydra’s attack. Dine tells them that the dragon’s miasma has tainted her homeland of Lothdor and sickened its people, so Will decides to go there and heal them.
Our Take:
Now don’t take my tagline for disrespect or to mean that I don’t like what this series is doing because I think it’s badass. Not only that but I know I’ve said this multiple weeks now but Ru has had some of the best character development I’ve seen. Don’t get me wrong it’s been a tad bit rushed but we never know how much time has passed during series like this so we don’t know for sure how much time he spent training with Will.
It does lead me to an interesting thought though. What would an anime set in the LOTR universe be like? Something tells me it would be very similar to this and that’s not a bad thing.
Will and the gang managed to defeat a lot of monsters and it seemed like perhaps their mission was complete but then the dragon made his presence known. I know Will is strong but dragons are a whole different level and I think this will be the episode to watch.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
