English Dub Review: The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You “The Holy War of Love and Soul”
Overview:
Hakari suggests that the group goes on a date to a flower park.
Our Take:
Rentarou and the girls go to a flower park on Hakari’s request. The park has a special monthly event that they all participate it. There’s a bouquet toss and whoever catches the bouquet gets to take a picture with her lover wearing a wedding dress. Hakari has always wanted to do this and the other girls feel the same way after learning about the tradition. However, Hakari is hiding her motivation for this outing.
The bouquet toss competition is very entertaining. I like watching the group’s main adversaries predictably cheat in order to gain an advantage. Our favorite harem has some tricks of their own though, so it makes for a memorable contest. Even those who aren’t as athletically gifted, like Shizuka, get a moment to shine.
Hakari’s reason for wanting to win the bouquet toss and taking the picture is interesting. It’s not something that I saw coming, but I feel like it’s going to make a lot more sense in the coming episodes.
Regardless, this another episode chock full of hilarious and romantic moments. It also starts what looks to be a promising final arc for the season, so I’m eagerly awaiting what comes of this new development.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
