English Dub Review: Heaven Official’s Blessing 2 “S2 Ep1” ; “S2 Ep2”

Picking up right where the first season left off. Xie Lian is summoned to heaven.

I love getting to see more donghua representation! Though I suppose this is a second season of an established show but still it’s nice to see. For those who don’t know donghua is the name for Chinese animation, I’m not sure why it’s a different name but I try to be respectful of things like that.

The donghua I have reviewed have all been beautiful to look at. There needs to be more of them with English dubs but with Link Click, The Daily Life of the Immortal King, and this all getting dubs there seems to be hope!

I remember really enjoying the side characters instead of the main ones in this but we will have to see if it stays that way. This was one of the first yaoi shows I reviewed and it was pretty good but just like a regular romance series I would like to see more progression than has been shown thus far. But if the second episode of this season is anything to go by it seems like there might be a lot more to look forward to.
