English Dub Review: Management of a Novice Alchemist “My Artifact Broke!”

Overview:

Sarasa’s powers go haywire when her pendant breaks! Running the shop is tough without it, but duty calls — much to her (and her customers’) chagrin.

Our Take:

We got some more backstory on Sarasa and how she came to work with her master. She passed the alchemy test that her master gave to potential employees but it seemed like she did too well. It would have been more helpful to have someone who didn’t know much about alchemy but Sarasa’s sob story got to her and she let her work for her.

One thing we also learned was that Sarasa has too much magical power to get things done without potentially breaking stuff. Her master gave her a pendant that limited her power so as to not have that issue but when she was transferring stuff through the magical portal her pendant got put in there by accident.

Sarasa still has a shop to run and without her pendant that became a more difficult task. Luckily her master is not only incredibly skilled but also has a huge soft spot for Sarasa. So as you can guess everything worked out in the end.
