English Dub Review: The Duke of Death and His Maid “The Duke, Alice, and the Curse Witch”
Overview:
Zain takes the crew back in time to confront Sade in the past.
Our Take:
I didn’t want this one to end but unlike a lot of other anime, I get to look forward to a third season of this wonderful series! I’m not sure how long the manga is but perhaps we might be able to finish the series at this rate. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time we’ve seen Daleth’s sister, Sade, and she gives off real yandere vibes which I love. I’m not sure who the man she was in love with was but something tells me that will be a question that season three will answer.
The character development has been one of the best parts of the series so far. Characters that I disliked or was led to believe were the villains have become some of my absolute favorites. Daleth in particular has become a standout that I can’t wait to see more of.
This is one of the few shows where the plot is the reason for slow romantic progression. I normally am not a fan of that but in this instance, I think it will make things really great. When we eventually get that kiss between Alice and the Duke it will be much earned. Will we perhaps get to see it in season three? Here’s to hoping.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
