English Dub Review: The Devil is a Part-Timer! “The Hero Dances on the Battlefield”

Overview:

Suzuno and Albert’s plan hits a snag, but Emi and Ashiya’s plans are going oddly well. The big questions of the day are: Can Maou merge with Acieth again? And does he have enough gas left in Powered Dullahan III?

Our Take:

I want to see Emi and Maou together so bad that it just might affect how I feel about this series when it’s over. They’re just so cute together and seeing them reunite was so adorable especially with how she stumbled over her words trying to thank him. At first I was concerned with Ashiya and Emi’s fight but luckily they had some sort of code word to let each other know things. Which led them to faking their fight.

Maou was able to muster some power as he managed to pull of a minor transformation at least. If I’m not mistaken there is only one episode left which is a bit sad and unlike last season there hasn’t been a confirmation of a fourth season as of yet. This last episode better be awesome because if history is anything to go by there might be a long wait between season three and four if we get one at all.
