English Dub Review: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation “I Want to Tell You”

Sylphiette reveals herself and Rudeus admits his feelings, but even that isn’t enough to cure what ails him. After their heart-to-heart, Sylphiette sets out to end his problem once and for all.

Our Take:

I don’t know about you but I sure didn’t think that one of the best portrayals of dealing with trauma was going to be in an arc where a guy is trying to cure his erectile dysfunction. It’s things like this that makes Mushoku Tensei so hard to recommend to people because on one hand it has a fantastic story to tell but at the same time it has almost every trope that your average person hates about anime. That’s why I say if you can get past that you will get to one of the best fantasy stories I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

It’s been so enjoyable in fact that I didn’t realize we were already at the part one finale. Unfortunately, we have quite a bit to wait to get to part two, with a current air date of April 2024. But I can promise you that you won’t want to miss it because if this series could make an arc about erectile dysfunction this good then just imagine what happens when things start to go crazy.
