English Dub Review: Management of a Novice Alchemist “I Got My Own Shop!”

Overview: 

Life dealt Sarasa a bad hand, but she’ll turn metaphorical lead into literal gold by passing her final alchemy exam. Highlife, here she comes! But there’s just one problem…

Our Take:

Sometimes you need a show that doesn’t deal with something about destroying the world or somehow reincarnating into a fantasy world as someone’s cat. Every once in a while it’s nice to just deal with some normal problems. Sarasa is voiced by the amazing Brittney Karbowski and I can already tell she fits the character perfectly. I look forward to hearing her more in this and to seeing who ends up voicing a lot of the characters in the title card.

I think most people find alchemy somewhat interesting or else there wouldn’t be so many games involving it including the wildly popular Atelier series. I love it when characters think outside of the box and do really smart things when they aren’t expected to. The way Sarasa passed her final exam was amazing and really gives me hope for how she is going to fix up her poor shop situation. Yes she got her own shop but it’s dilapidated and in the middle of nowhere. I have feeling seeing her build it up is going to be a lot of fun.
