English Dub Review: Management of a Novice Alchemist “I Came to the Village!”
Overview:
Her new digs may look shabby, but there’s more to them than meets the eye. With hard work (and a little help) Sarasa will transform her situation in no time flat!
Our Take:
Well, one of the people from the opening has made their debut and it seems that we will get another in the next episode. Lorea lives in the neighboring village and decides to become Sarasa’s employee! I suppose there are worse ways to introduce a new character and her family seems nice. The whole village in fact seemed pretty kind even if their eating habits left a lot to be desired. I’m no food snob but eating worms isn’t exactly something many people are lining up to do.
This series has been enjoyable and there is a lot of color so it’s a joy to look at it but other than that it’s been pretty generic for me. That’s not necessarily bad, but the best thing I have to say about this series so far is that the voice talent they hired is amazing. Brittney Karbowski and Juliet Simmons so far are the main two I can’t wait to hear more of. Getting to see who voices the blue-haired girl from the opening is what I’m excited about next week.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
