Event News: Glitch Productions And Netflix Announce Animation WebCasts To Tease Upcoming New Series

 

On September 27, you’re invited to tune in to Netflix’s first-ever DROP 01 – a virtual showcase featuring the digital premiere of the highly-anticipated series Castlevania: Nocturne, and celebrating the best of their mostly game/comic-related genre animated series. Anchored by a global livestream of Castlevania: Nocturne’s first three episodes (the day before the series officially debuts on Netflix), the 90-minute showcase will feature surprise announcements and never-before-seen, sneak peek “drops” from our most highly anticipated upcoming animated series.

Between each episode of the advance Castlevania: Nocturne screening, you’ll be treated to reveals from upcoming animated series including Scott Pilgrim Takes Off,  Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, Blue Eye Samurai, Pluto, Masters of the Universe: Revolution, plus more.

Via a QR code featured in the showcase, you can also shop branded products from Castlevania: Nocturne and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.

September 1st Glitch Productions announced a livestream event called “Glitch Expo” (also known as GlitchX) to help shine a spotlight and give the well deserved recognition to the indie animation community. 

GlitchX is an opportunity for fans of not only Glitch, but their favourite indie animation creators to interact, discover and discuss the industry and the shows that everybody knows and loves. The livestream event is also an opportunity to acknowledge how far the community has grown, and what audiences can expect next in the scene. 

The event will take place November 9th at 4:00pm PST. Glitch Productions will host the event on their youtube channel @glitch_prod which has accumulated over 1.81 million subscribers and 138.6 million views. The GlitchX event will cross over 4.5 hours with 6 segments, featuring artists and creators from across the indie scene. The segments will include focused discussions from creators Liam Vickers (Murder Drones) and Gooseworx (The Amazing Digital Circus), series spotlights, voice acting games, and a roundtable of creators coming together to discuss where this indie animation movement is heading.
