English Dub Review: Am I Actually the Strongest? “The Demon King’s Name”

Overview:

Much to his chagrin, Haruto finds himself the center of attention throughout the school after his run-in with Schneidel. While trying to decide which department to enroll in, Haruto encounters Iris yet again, who has a favor to ask of him…

Our Take:

Iris is by far the best thing to happen to this series since the first episode. My only problem with this happening is that I imagine we are nearing the end of the season and this doesn’t quite strike me as a series that will get a continuation. Though I could be wrong and this might be more popular than I give it credit for.

On to the stuff I liked, which was almost all Iris. She’s cute and quirky and if I was following along correctly she might be the reincarnation of the Demon King. Which is always cool, I love when we get stories that don’t follow the typical tropes. The “Demon King” doesn’t always have to be bad just like the “Hero” isn’t always good. Granted I’m not sure whether she is good or evil just yet but she seems to be good at the moment at least. I don’t know what next week is going to bring but I hope it’s more Iris.
