Without this gorgeous, talented goddess, #HarleyQuinn would have never existed. She was the inspiration & the heart & soul of this iconic character. I was in awe as #Batgirl watching her alongside @MarkHamill & Kevin. Sending love to her family #RipArleenSorkin ❤️🖤 🦇 pic.twitter.com/8zQdHsyOyM

Arleen was an actress who famously did the soap opera Days Of Our Lives character, Calliope Jones. and also wrote the 1997 Jennifer Aniston movie Picture Perfect. But famously, she voiced Harley Quinn in the critically acclaimed Batman: The Animated series from 1992 and continued to reprise her role up until 2011. Harley was an original character who started off being exclusive to the cartoon but eventually elevated into popularity in other mediums such as videogames, other cartoons, Anime, and even Live Action movies such as Birds of Prey and the Suicide Squad movies.
Arleen worked closely with showrunners Bruce Timm and Paul Dini to help shape the character’s personality. Even her Brooklyn accent was modeled after Arleen herself. She has left a lasting legacy of actresses taking the mantle in different mediums. Whether it’s Tara Strong, Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch, Hynden Walch, Kari Wahlgren, Margot Robbie, and soon, Lady Gaga. They all owe her a debt of gratitude for the torch that was passed down to each of them.
RIP Arleen…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
