Our Take
This week’s dual premieres of HouseBroken features quite a lot of travels this week and not a lot of time in the therapy room which I actually appreciate. Also, I appreciate the amount of Shel-related premises we had this week considering that we haven’t seen him in a bit it seemed. In fact, Chico taking over his family might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, a real strong suit of the show that doesn’t get exploited enough…cuteness. And the baby turtles flocking to Chico and turning into kittens was fantastic in every way.
Now that I mention him, we got a lot of Chico this week as well, with a second episode featuring Chico hosting a reality show ala The Bachelorette which I thought was really funny as well. I’m sure there were gags and jokes at the behest of the reality series that I didn’t get because I’ve never watched the ABC series, but there was still quite enough to hang on to and enjoy. The penultimate premieres showcase a show that still has strong legs, let’s see how it wraps things up next week!
