English Dub Review: My Tiny Senpai “Is This How I Look to You?’

Overview:

Shinozaki and Katase reveal how they see each other.

Our Take:

Katase and Shinozaki tend to have a few awkward encounters. However, a lot of them end up being really sweet and this episode is no exception. We get to see how they acted towards each other when Shinozaki first started his new job.

There’s also a really nice scene where Shinozaki wins Katase some plushies from a claw machine. They see each plushie reminds them of one another, even if it’s not in ways the viewer might expect. There’s a kind of weird scene involving the plushies, but it’s still pretty funny.

Interestingly enough, we also learn a little more about Hayakawa and how she feels about one of her superiors. Or at least, how she did feel about him. I did see this coming, but I still think it’s a neat reveal.

I really enjoy the chemistry between Shinozaki and Katase. They’re awkward with each other sometimes, but it feels natural more often than not. Plus, it’s not too over the top. They still have plenty of normal conversations and it’s clear that they’re good friends. I like seeing them together and I hope we get more nice moments like the claw machine scene in this episode
