English Dub Review: Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation “The Forest in the Dead of Night”

Overview:

Rudeus doesn’t want a new party, but he still grows closer to Counter Arrow as he settles into life as a Northlands adventurer. When danger rears its head, he finds himself risking it all for his new friends.

Our Take:

Rudeus took some time to get reacclimated to being an adventurer but whether he wanted to or not he has gotten close to the party Counter Arrow. I think this is a good party for him and after what happens in this episode it’s clear that Sara is starting to fall for him. As they tend to do in a story like this but hey my boy is hard to resist.

I know I talked about Studio Bind in the last episode but I just have to say that their animation constantly blows me away. I’m pretty horrible when it comes to the correct way to describe why I love it so much but the fight scenes they do are just so damn clean. If you pause at the right time you might get some goofy facial animations but even the best of anime has been made fun of when it comes to that kind of scrutiny. All I know is that this is one of my favorite series airing right now and I can’t wait to see what the next couple of episodes bring.
