ALF Marathon Gets Maximum Effort With New Ads Featuring Iconic Character

One of the great primetime sitcoms of all-time that featured an animated puppet as its star is getting is rightful return to, what we hope, his television throne. Paul Fusco’s iconic alien life form, abbreviated to ALFwill see a return on Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort channel that can be found on AVOD platforms like Amazon FreeVee, Tubi, and Fubo.

Alf will be part of a big marathon starting on July 29th via Shout Studios and as part of the marathon we’re going to get to see Fusco reprise his role as Alf in a number of brand-new spots promoting brands like Ring, ForHims, MNTNMint Mobile, and others and you can see all of the ads below.

ALF follows the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wise-cracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. The Tanners offer him a home and give him the nickname ALF, short for “Alien Life Form.” Created by Tom Patchett (The Carol Burnett Show) and Paul Fusco (also the puppeteer for ALF), the half-hour sitcom rose to popularity in the late 1980s cementing itself in the pop culture zeitgeist.
