Elizabeth Banks says the show is in development still but the upcoming sequel series for The Flintstones already has a landing page on FOX.com along with social profiles on Instagram (@bedrockonFOX) and elsewhere.

BEDROCK, a primetime animated adult comedy series continuing the story of everyone’s favorite modern Stone Age family, the Flintstones. BEDROCK catches up with the Flintstone family two decades after the original, with Fred on the brink of retirement and 20-something Pebbles embarking on her own career. As the Stone Age gives way to a shiny and enlightened new Bronze Age, the residents of Bedrock will find this evolution harder than a swing from Bamm-Bamm’s club.
In a new interview with TVLine, Banks says of the tone of the upcoming series that announced its voice cast back in March 2023:

Oh, I think we still want it to be for co-viewing [by parents with their kids]. It will have adult themes, like all the greats — just like The Simpsons or South Park — but “family-ish friendly.” I mean, I let my kids watch South Park…. [Chuckles]

Toonami producer Jason DeMarco is teasing TWO unannounced anime projects, one of which will get a full reveal at AnimeExpo 2023. The new series is coming from Wit Studio and WB Japan, however, we don’t know much else about what’s coming down the pike. That said, we will report on what goes down at the expo as it happens, so keep it locked here.

Update 6/30: AnimeExpo schedule is out. Adult Swim will be showcasing Uzumaki, and other unannounced projects.
