Our Take

Ohh man. We just had a big development here. This week, we finally got the long-awaited first-look at the Beavis and Butt-Head kids that had been promised in the show’s graphics for months now, and they did NOT disappoint. Really, Smary Beavis and Smart Butt-Head can be utilized for a number of different purposes, not the least of which could be additional time and multiversal travel adventures that introduce different eras of B&B. We already have middle-age, classic, and other-wordly accounted for, the franchise can certainly to a whole “kids” take on the franchise that would be excellent.

Look no further than the “Vasectomies” story line that teases just that and executes the even quick bits flawlessly and the only problem that I had was there wasn’t MORE. I want FULL FUCKING SHOWS MIKE! Sure, go ahead and call me greedy, I can handle it. “Vasectomies” by itself would have been close to a 10/10 episode for me if we had just that this week.

On the other hand, “The Warrior” was a rather cliched storyline that’s been done before, and personally I think “A Fistful of Meg” is my favorite of this variety and this show didn’t even give us a final battle sequence.  Both cutaways were ok, but nothing to write home about in terms of any decent jokes which is interesting because usually the YouTube shit is the funniest, but this week I didn’t see the cinder there.

The hot stuff was definitely B&B kids. Give me WAY more of that..
