Camp Camp To Make Return At RTX 2023 With Changed Voice Cast
Rooster Teeth’s RTX convention is slated to kick off on July 7th that is supposed to bring to a close a 20-week campaign to really change Rooster Teeth’s branding efforts after a few years that featured a multitude of controversies.
As part of its twentieth year, the company rebranded, changing its logo from a rooster icon and a wind-up set of novelty teeth to a stylized “R” with the appearance of a rooster and changing to a red and blue color scheme from the original red and black. The company’s new slogan is “Just Playing”
A Rooster Teeth animation panel will be a part of the festivities, and one of the closing efforts of the bringing back “deep cuts, one-off episodes and fan favorites every week” will be the return of a new episode of Camp Camp. While we don’t know if a new season is in tow, we DO know that Rooster Teeth has changed the voice cast.
The voices of Max, Nerris, and Gwen are expected to be replaced by @BlackKrystel as Nerris, @KaitlinBex as Gwen, and @KrishnaTheKumar as Max. Rooster Teeth is calling these changes ” commonplace industry standards” which is a nice way of saying “woke” and already fans on the show’s Instagram page are not happy not unlike the negative attention that has been received at other companies like Target, Bud Light, and others who have lost billions in revenue for pushing more “woke” agendas.
Synopsis:
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
