Resident Evil: Death Island: Additional English Dub Cast Announced
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s upcoming release of Resident Evil: Death Island releases this Summer 2023 as the media conglomerate handles all international distribution of the new CG-animated film in all territories not named Japan where the movie will see a July 2023 release date.
The film will see the first-time team-up of Chris and Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Rebecca Chambers, and Jill Valentine, all at the same time. The film takes place in the year 2015, which is after Resident Evil 6 but set before Resident Evil: 7 (which probably spoils who survives this ordeal).
The feature-length is directed by Eiichirō Hasumi and is written by Makoto Fukami.
The already confirmed English dub cast includes:
- Kevin Dorman as Chris Redfield
- Matthew Mercer as Leon S. Kennedy
- Nicole Tompkins as Jill Valentine
- Erin Cahill as Rebecca Chambers
- Stephanie Panisello as Claire Redfield
- Salli Saffioti as Ingrid Hunnigan
Additional cast members just announced include:
- Dylan voiced by Daman Mills
- Maria Gomez voiced by Cristina Valenzuela
- Ingrid Hunnigan voiced by Salli Saffioti
Synopsis:
“D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.”
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
