English Dub Review: My Home Hero “The Correct Path”

Overview:

The group of men, led by Kyoichi, discovers Tetsuo and Kasen’s lie and resorts to violence to interrogate them to find out what happened to Nobuto.

Our Take:

I find it funny that the name of this episode is “The Correct Path” because it does not seem like it. Maybe the best of a bunch of bad options, but I don’t know about correct. Once again I have to applaud this series for its use of intelligent protagonists though. I love when someone has to figure out things with their brain and Tetsuo needs to give himself more credit because his careful planning has made it so they could be this successful.

If you’ve ever watched a mob movie or anything like that I’m sure you’ve probably seen a scene where someone has a bag over their head while getting tortured. I bring this up because I never really thought about what that might be like. We as the audience can see what is happening to the person usually but not this time. We were just as lost as Tetsuo and seeing what his imagination cooked up was terrifying. Tetsuo is swinging by the seat of his pants right now but it could work out for him now that he has seemingly recruited an ally from the inside.
