English Dub Review: My Home Hero “Entertaining the Guest, Kasen Style”

Overview:

Tetsuo succeeds in uploading the fake video of Nobuto, but it leads to more investigation by Kubo’s men. Kyoichi, still suspicious of Tetsuo, decides to investigate Tetsuo’s house. Without consulting Tetsuo, Kasen chooses to entertain Kyoichi…

Our Take:

This anime is going to give me heart problems I swear. I’m constantly freaking out but somehow Tetsuo and Kasen have a contingency plan for their contingency plans. I love smart characters so this has been awesome but it’s also stressful. Kyochi has been an interesting character because he’s a part of the organization but he’s working with Tetsuo, I keep waiting for him to start to be cool but I think he will just always be a dick.

As for the stress, I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon. Rika came home and something tells me that she isn’t as prepped as Tetsuo and Kasen have been. It’s inevitable that she is going to find out that her dad killed Nobuto so that will be an interesting development. But Kyochi better leave her alone because she hasn’t done anything but if Nobuto’s dad is to be believed then she and Kasen won’t be safe if they find out what happened to Nobuto.
