English Dub Review: Sugar Apple Fairy Tale “That Which Should Be Made”

Overview

Seeing Keith’s sugar confection has made Anne anxious about the theme for her piece. Suddenly, she remembers Kieth mentioning that the royal family favors fairy themed sugar confections, so she heads to the church on her day off to try and discover why…

Our Take

Anne feeling emotionally disconnected in one of various many ways: Shalle being Kieth’s sugar confection fairy model, and of course there’s Bridget trying to win her way into his heart that she’s purchase him without any hesitation. Going to the nearby temple to seek a course, the story between the King Cedric and the Fairy King and their relationship somewhat mirror’s like Anne and Shalle. Having finally found a piece that she wants to create, working day and night at the Radcliffe Workshop to finish her piece just in time for the Sugar Confection Exhibition, it is a marvelous piece of work of art that has Kieth all worried about his part.

As usual, Jonas this time is only part of the equation of the feud between Anne and the Radcliffe school, but these bullshit “damsel in distress” moments are already annoying in and of itself. If that’s not enough, Sammy and his men are shielded from the master himself, and staying further in the school would only bring both Jonas and Anne more harm.

Overall, while the lore of the Fairy’s history was expanded a bit, that delves into a historic battle between King Fairy and King Cendric in the past, the proceedings were quite predictable with Jonas being a douchey scoundrel, and Shalle having rescue Anne’s ass. I don’t understand why there’s so much hate for a Anne as a person all because she wants to make her confections and quietly go about her business, but we might get more drama with people trying to start shit with her, or capturing Shalle and maybe the candy in the upcoming season finale, or it could just be an happy fairy tale, who knows…
