English Dub Review: My Hero Academia “No Man Is an Island”

Overview:

As Izuku tries to rest and recover back at U.A. with his classmates, All Might has an encounter with Stain that leads to new information about Shigaraki and All For One.

Our Take:

Another season of My Hero Academia is in the books and with how the manga seems to be going I have a feeling we might only have one more season left. They could finalize it with a movie I suppose but I’m going to be sad when this one ends. I didn’t watch the ending of Dragonball Z, Bleach, or Naruto when they were airing and who knows when One Piece is going to end. I’m aware that people are sometimes upset with the My Hero Academia fandom but this has been one of the most popular Shonen series in a long time so its ending will be a big deal.

This episode didn’t have a whole lot of action, but we did get a really awesome scene between All Might and the Hero Killer Stain. We knew that of all the heroes in the world Stain respected All Might. But he couldn’t believe that this puny man was All Might but I think he saw into his soul or something because he ultimately gave All Might some insider information about All for One’s plans.

This series is in my top five and has been for a reason. It still remains to be seen if the ending will be good and that is a HUGE part of the series’ impact on me. But the journey thus far has been fantastic at the very least. I wouldn’t expect the seventh season till possibly this time next year but I promise it will be worth the wait.
