Unicorn: Warriors Eternal Gets Premiere Date For…Adult Swim
Originally developed for Cartoon Network and HBO MAX (though I’m sure the latter is still happening), Genndy Tartakovsky’s Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is getting a May 4th @ Midnight ET/PT start on Adult Swim with ten-episode serialized mini-series.
The new series follows a team of ancient heroes as they work together to protect the world from an unforeseen and ominous force. The heroes, who are originally unicorns, find themselves in the bodies of teenagers after a rude awakening that leaves their memories forgotten and powers weakened.
A promo was shown on Adult Swim, however, a legal version hasn’t been provided just yet. Once that happens, we will update. It should be worth noting that this Saturday is April Fool’s Day, typically, Adult Swim likes to do a big stunt on this day, so we’ll see if anything pops up then.
Update 3/29: Trailer has been posted
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
