English Dub Review: To Your Eternity “End of an Era”

Overview

With the Nokkers defeated, the people of Renril rejoice, and Fushi and his friends discuss their hopes for the future…

Our Take

With a sad yet needed ending for the cast, Fushi embarks on a journey to cover up the world and defeat the Nokkers once and for all to make a world peaceful for everyone. As we see the epilogue of the series we witness where each character ended up and how many years have trespassed.

It’s quite the journey, but as it turns out there’s still a chapter left at least because the post-credits announced a season 3 in the works which I honestly don’t know how to feel about this since this wouldn’t have been a bad place to stop but there have to be some reasons behind this, tales to be told and feelings to be had…

While the series did start slow without much fanfare considering Fushi’s character had changed as well as the setting, the second half more than made up for it with a lot fewer bittersweet moments. However lots of questions rise, characters died and came back not without consequence and the revival ability got to play a major factor in its conclusion. I always appreciate a solid epilogue that attempts to tie up all its loose ends. But there is more?! I really have no idea what to expect from S3.
