English Dub Review: Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury “Their Choice”

Overview:

Suletta and Miorine got the funding for their company. Now they just have to decide what they’re going to sell. Getting the Earthian house on board will be helpful too.

Our Take:

Part of this is going to be me gushing about Brittney Karbowski, because not only is she one of my favorites but I love how she portrays Chuchu. Chuchu is one of the Earthian students and she has a lot of attitude, especially when it comes to Spacians. Miorine and Suletta want the Earthians to help them with their new company but if they made weapons that hurt people on Earth could they live with themselves?

When Chuchu gets fired up she’s hilarious but will come to the defense of her friends. I think she and all the other Earth house students are going to be fine additions to GUND-Arm Inc. Luckily, Miorine is the type of CEO to listen to her “employees” and decides to pivot away from weapons towards the medical applications that GUND was originally intended for. They found footage of Cardo Nabo talking about using GUND for this purpose but Suletta didn’t recognize her which I found odd.

Of course not all want this to be a successful company not without getting a piece themselves that is. Shaddiq is using his sway to get the company outlawed before it even begins. What will the group do? Is another duel on the horizon?
