Prime Video: Wytches Animated Horror Series Ordered
This is nearly ten years in the making with Scott Snyder’s debut issue of Wytches releasing in 2014 of which Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment right away opted to adapt the comic into a film. Fast forward to 2021, the six-issue comic series was first put into development as a TV series with Snyder writing the first episode and Mark Simpson aka “Jock” doing the storyboards.
Now we have the official news that Prime Video is doing it’s part and has ordered Wytches as an animated horror TV series and it will include Amazon Studios and Project 51 Productions as producers alongside Plan B.
The synopsis for the comics reads as follows:
When the Rooks family moves to the remote town of Litchfield, NH to escape a haunting trauma, they’re hopeful about starting over. But something evil is waiting for them in the woods just beyond town. Watching from the trees. Ancient…and hungry.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
