Indie Round–Up: Rock, Paper Scissors, Portal Media, Ranger Rick, and Lords Of Laggard Hill

Corridor studios has released a new web3-produced animated short called Rock, Paper, Scissors written by Niko Pueringer and Sam Gorski and utilizing various machine-learning programs, the crew was able to show what was possible in under 8-minutes.

The tech has a bit to go, but this short is very impressive. Watch out for Corridor Studios.

Synopsis:
After the death of their father, two twin brothers must engage in ancient combat to decide the rightful ruler of the kingdom and to save it from starvation.


If you haven’t already, check out new episodes of Natural Habitat which are made available as part of YouTube’s shorts program, but also Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter coming from creators Brennan Brinkley, Nicole Low, and Tyler Kula’s. The series follows a bunch of animals doing human things in shorts that are under a minute that are sure to please.


The third season of Lords of Laggard Hill is set to premiere on March 17th and you can watch the trailer below.

Their glory days behind them, three warlords spend their twilight years on Laggard Hill, clutching to power and filling their time with empty disputes. Results may vary as they explore the unknown, engage in heists, meddle with humans and stave off retirement. The show’s main episodes are released in seasons. Spin-offs have followed at random, including the broadcast parody “PSA Series” and the gaming-inspired “Pushing Buttons”.


Portal Media has released a new short film made entirely in VRChat calledWhat If Life Was a Fever Dream. “What If Life Was a Fever Dream” is an experimental adventure comedy about a young man who finds himself on a journey through a variety of exotic, bizarre adventures that is all happening within his own mind.

The short releases as VRChat played host to a big film festival over the weekend that featured over 30 original films made entirely in VRChat.
