English Dub Review: The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made “Reunited with Kannazuki Karen”
Overview:
Seiichi is finally reunited with his childhood friend, Kannazuki Karen, and they talk about Seiichi’s childhood and his bullying until Oliga notices the Enslavement Bracelet around Kannazuki’s wrist.
Our Take:
Ya know, as far as harem protagonists go Seiichi is pretty likable. In fact, now that I think about it I’m kind of surprised that Josh Grelle doesn’t voice Seiichi, he is the harem king after all. But I digress, and I think Mark Allen Jr. does a great job. As for Seiichi, I like that he admits to his faults and even lays them out to his group in a way of apologizing but when your wife is a gorilla you can’t exactly be surprised that she doesn’t care what you look like.
At first, I was worried that Kannazuki wasn’t going to be a part of the group but that worry seems to be unfounded. When it comes to harem stories I like them when they are more like this, Mushoku Tensei, and from what I hear High School DxD. What I mean by that is that a lot of the girls are cool and interesting and I like to see them all “win”, I can’t say for sure that Seiichi will also get with Kannazuki but when a guy has a wife AND a girlfriend I don’t see why that would be a problem but only time will tell.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
