English Dub Review: The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made “Being a Teacher is Tough”
Overview:
Seiichi meets the extremely eccentric students of F-class and gets stuck playing the straight-man before the class’ old teacher, Beatrice, suggests mock battles so Seiichi can assess their abilities.
Our Take:
Well with the winter storm down in Texas we had a few delays with some of the Crunchyroll dubs but it seems like we’re starting to get back on track. There will still be a couple we miss this week but we’re getting there. Honestly, I’m glad they did that and showed they care for their employees. I’m just confused because I thought most people are doing remote recording nowadays anyway but maybe they want more in-studio time now. Either way, I am glad we are back with this one.
I feel like I really need to go back and watch all of season one because I had no idea that Seiichi and Saria were married or that Altria was his girlfriend. As someone who loves romance, I just wrote this one off as something that would be nothing but harem stuff until the end but it seems like there are some conclusive relationship dynamics at play here.
This more or less feels like a mid-tier show that you might like certain things about. I would say after this episode I’m more intrigued than I was but it might have a bit to go to really grab my attention. Seiichi was just so annoying early on that I checked out but I think I need to give it a fair chance now, and I am looking forward to his mock battle with Class F.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
