English Dub Review: Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World “The Labyrinth of Bonds”

Overview:

The party goes on an excursion to find a magical sword.

Our Take:

This episode ticked all the boxes, it had almost everything I look for in a fantasy show. The team is starting to develop and become a cohesive party that actually cares for each other. We get a new team member (sort of) that comes with their own set of awesome moves. Not only that but maybe I’ve been playing too much Fire Emblem: Engage but seeing Curran and Nick merge together to become a badass fighting machine was just cool.

I’ve mentioned in previous reviews that I love to play Dungeons and Dragons and this episode felt like a D&D session. The party clearly wasn’t doing what the DM wanted them to be doing and got punished for it. Plus it usually devolves into jokes and mayhem sooner or later, but the party will still manage to get serious when the moment calls for it.

We are four episodes into Ningen Fushin and it is taking a little while to get going but I like where it’s headed. I definitely recommend this to fantasy fans that don’t necessarily want an isekai story.
